#PinkKiss for the Cure
Company-wide “Pink Kiss for the Cure” campaign expected to reach goal in seventh annual event.
Atlanta, Ga. (September 26, 2017) – For a seventh straight year, CentraArchy Restaurants continues its commitment to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its own “Pink Kiss for the Cure” campaign. Each year, all 19 CentraArchy restaurants offer a limited edition Pink Kiss martini with 50 percent of the sales going directly to a breast cancer research and care organization. This year’s campaign contributions will go to the Susan G. Komen organization—specifically to fund breast cancer research and mammogram costs for the underserved locally.
“When we began Pink Kiss for the Cure seven years ago, the $100,000 goal set for ourselves seemed far away,” said CentraArchy vice president and COO George Ogorek. “As we pass this milestone, we hope our guests will once again join our associates this month in finding ways to raise community awareness and funding to fight a disease that continues to affect so many of our loved ones.”
To participate, guests simply order the “Pink Kiss” at any CentraArchy Restaurant (New York Prime, California Dreaming, The Tavern at Phipps, Chophouse New Orleans, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Chophouse ’47, Gulfstream Café or Burro Loco). Proceeds this year will help Susan G. Komen in its work to fund research, education and preventative care. Complimentary pink golf tees will also be offered at New York Prime and Chophouse ‘47 during the campaign. Guests are encouraged to share their photo-worthy images on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #PinkKiss.

Toast the August 21 eclipse with limited edition beverage
CentraArchy restaurants invite diners to toast the August 21 eclipse with limited edition beverage
ATLANTA (August 7, 2017) – As South Carolina prepares to host visitors from around the country for the region’s first total eclipse of the sun in 38 years on August 21, CentraArchy restaurants are offering a month long drink special to celebrate. The limited edition adult beverage is offered at Chophouse ‘47 and California Dreaming locations in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston through the end of August.
“With so many out-of-town visitors expected to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event in our state, a proper toast seemed the most appropriate way to celebrate the occasion,” said CentraArchy vice president and COO George Ogorek. “‘Total Eclipse’ features floated black rum eclipsing a refreshing blend of ginger beer with fresh squeezed lime and orange juice. A sunny orange wedge tops it off for the perfect eclipse toast.”
While the totality of the August 21, 2:39 p.m. eclipse can only be seen from the company’s four California Dreaming and Chophouse ‘47 locations in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston, the partial event will be visible and the Total Eclipse beverage offered at all 19 CentraArchy Restaurants through August.
California Dreaming is located at 40 Beacon Drive and Chophouse ‘47 is located at 36 Beacon Drive in Greenville, S.C. In Columbia, California Dreaming is located at 401 Main Street and the Charleston location is at 1 Ashley Point Drive.
CentraArchy Restaurants include New York Prime, California Dreaming, The Tavern at Phipps, Chophouse New Orleans, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Chophouse ’47, Gulfstream Café and Burro Loco (19 restaurants company-wide).
